The Downfall of the United States of America?

Are we witnessing the downfall of the United States of America? As government grabs more and more power and drives us into unimaginable amounts of debt, will the citizens wake up and realize the lessons learned from history, such as the corruption and downfall of the USSR?

The government is composed of people who have found a way to gain control over others. They steal money from the citizens and spend it in whatever way their arrogance directs them.
