We run across many a strange tale at Beam's Doorway Freaky News but this one ranks as one of the strangest. We received this bizarre photo along with a note written with a nervous hand. The son of the man in the photo writes in his letter:

"My dad, walking out to his car to leave for work, found a strange silver ball in our driveway. He never made it to work that day. In fact, he never goes anywhere anymore, because that ball changed his life.

I saw him bend over to pick it up, and as he held it in his hand it burst open, spewing this strange looking gunk all over him. It covered him completely. Then the gunk started to move, arranging itself over my dad's body. It was terrible. The glistening mucus pulled away from my father's face, and to my surprise, he was smiling, like he liked it or something!

I ran over to help him but he yelled at me not to try and pull it off. He just smiled and winked at me, as if I should know what was going on in his head.

I ran in the house and ordered books and video's from Beam's Doorway to comfort myself in these strange times. My dad just wanders around the house, laughing and smiling. This has gone on for a month.

I'm glad he's happy, but if it weren't for the books and movies, I might go nuts."
