Aliens stimulate the imagination of mankind. We wonder what creatures the multitude of planets may hold. Many people believe in ETs. Try this experiment. Next time you are at a party, bring up the subject of UFOs. When the conversation gets rolling, you will be surprised at the amount of people that will confess to having seen a UFO! I've heard some fascinating stories.
I'll relate my own personal experience. When I was a child in the fifties, living in a typical suburban neighborhood, I had my first encounter with a UFO. I was playing with my friend on his front lawn. Back in those days in southern California, new houses actually had front lawns, not the 3 foot strip that counts for a front yard today. For some reason during our play, I looked up at the sky, over the suburban rooftops and spotted an oddly shaped object floating perfectly still. It was silver and shaped like a lozenge or gel capsule. It looked fairly close. The image above is a simulation of what I saw.
I became excited and as my friend and I stared up at the UFO, I told him to go get his mom. My friend went into the house, got his mom and the three of us stood on the lawn staring up at the motionless, shining object.
My friend's mom just couldn't fit this incident into her reality. I looked at her and she looked at me and remarked that it was just a kite. In that instant, we both looked back up at the object but it was gone. In a split second it had disappeared! My friends mom turned and walked back into the house without saying another word. I knew her mind had shut out this experience. She just couldn’t handle it.
No, it wasn't a kite. That is certain. Was it an alien encounter? An angel? A strange atmospheric phenomenon? I don't really know.
